The vernal equinox full moon is about to drop below the summit of the Sierra Mojada (the Wet Mountains) of Colorado’s Front Range, shortly after sunrise in March, 2010. The peak is called Round Top, and its summit is a bit shy of 11,000 feet. The photo was taken from a distance of approx. ten miles; Olympus digital, 10mp, at 7:47 AM, MST.
