Icicle, Halloween 2009

This guy was hanging from the eve right outside my office window on Halloween, 2009. I’m not even going to TRY explain it! At least he melted and added some water to the next year’s flower bed!

Thanksgiving Day Guests

On the morning of Thanksgiving Day, 2009, several guests arrived early. Two of them munched some backyard prairie grass while the other two sprawled out and relaxed. None of them stayed for dinner. Olympus digital, 10mp.

Shivering Sparrow

Following a late October, 2009 snowstorm, the most available sparrow food was in a backyard feeder. There was no charge for the icicle! Olympus digital, 10mp.
